The Process
01 — Relationship
A key first step to any consulting process is building a relationship. You need to trust that I have your best interests at heart and can deliver on what you need in whatever field and capacity we come up with. Just as important I have to trust that you are in the right place and getting what you need.
02 — Exploration
Each Enablement project will start with a discovery phase where together we will walk through your current offerings and organization as well as your planned roadmap. Using this time we will begin to develop an idea of the organizational needs specific to your team and necessary scope of the project
03 — Roadmap
Here we take what was learned and develop an in depth roadmap of the growth of enablement at your company and across your business. This plan will look unique for every client but will generally be laid out in a phased approach with the flexibility a young company needs to pivot built right in. The goal is that once we get through our initial phases any continued relationship between your team and Karellen will be for refinement and because you want a more integrated approach, not because you need us to adjust for minor changes in plan.
04 — Launch
Here we have the meat, one bad joke per page. Here we take the roadmap and we deploy the initial stages. This will usually involve some initial content creation working with your subject matter experts, train the trainer work, and some hiring. The idea of creating a scaleable model for holistic enablement through Karellen allows you to hire what you need at the time but have someone developing a long term strategy for growth. Hire what you need, don’t over hire upfront. We will be your interim strategic level.
04 — Maintenance and Mentoring (optional)
When building a team and program from scratch it can be useful to have an experienced mentor to help the fledgling team along the way. We are here for you to provide mentoring to new leaders, support for changes in priorities, and updates to the original roadmap as needed. Think of us as a part time VP of Enablement / management coach / strategic planner wrapped into one as needed package.
